I thought that the school house was COOL because of the room was so tiny, and how the desks were. I thought that was COOL. I thought on how the blacksmith machine looked, and I thought that COOL because it’s way different since it’s now.

The graves site was so COOL we were right next to Herbert Hoover and Lou Henry Hoover. We were right next to the president! and the museum was really COOL, too.

The meeting house and church were COOL
and the cry room is called the mother’s room in our church. I felt very holy there at the church.

Probably the COOLEST thing was the Blacksmith Shop. I liked how the Blacksmith made some utensils that people used back in the 1800s.

My favorite part was seeing Hoover’s house. It was COOL because you could see Hoover’s and Lou’s graves and also the kitchen was split with the living room. The bedroom was COOL. The toys were a lot smaller than mine.

Another thing I liked was the school. I was amazed that all the kids fit in there. They must not have had many kids there. Also it was COOL that they had a lesson plan and you would sit in the front row of the desks if you had it memorized.

My favorite parts were the graves, school, Blacksmith, Church, and birthplace. They were really COOL. We were really lucky because we went on Thursday and a real Blacksmith was working. So I had an awesome time.

It was COOL to see his old house. It would be hard for me to live there, with such little space. I could not do it! The one room school was COOL to see. There was such a tiny space. I can not believe that was a school!

Another thing I liked was the meeting place. It was COOL how there were windows that opened and shut. I think it would be hard to sit there for hours at a time.

I really liked Hoover’s house. It was tiny for 5 people to live in. Two adults and 3 kids. WOW!!!. Hoover’s toys were COOL to see. It was truly an amazing sight to see!! The carpet in the house was COOL. All sorts of types of carpet. The History of how he grew up in the house was neat.

My favorite part was the Blacksmith shop. We got to see the actual Blacksmith guy. It was so COOL. Some other classes didn’t get to see it.

If I had to live like that, I would feel bad because Bert’s dad died when he was six. When Herbert was ten his mom died and Bert moved to Oregon. But being Pres would be COOL.
