A Note From Mira
Well, we’re up and running and hard at work! I am so grateful to our wonderful educators who have taken their precious summer vacation time to come to the Reagan Library, delve into our textual holdings and create an extensive body of primary-source document based lesson plans and classroom ready activities.
Our educators represent schools from a diverse group of area classrooms. Some of our teachers focus on AP United States History classes whereas others are working with English Language Learners. The breadth of representation will encourage a strong and multi-faceted curriculum set on both the working of the United States Government and the history of our country.
The project serves as a great example of cooperation and communication between our educational and archival communities. Thank you to the education interns, Reagan Library archivists, and the National Archives Social Media group for all of your support
